By plane (F)

Check the webpage of the Innsbruck airport (INN) for flights to Innsbruck.

Another possibility is to fly to Munich Airport (MUC) and proceed to Innsbruck by train, bus or shuttle service. For example, the Four Seasons Airport Transfer service brings you directly to the institute/your hotel/et, and a Fernbus bus line connects Munich Airport with Innsbruck city.

By train (T)

Please consult the ÖBB web page for train connections to and from Innsbruck.

From the airport/train station to the institute

Either you take a taxi or you use the public transport. For the second possibility, you can use the route planner provided by the Verkehrsverbund Tirol (VVT).

If you arrive at the airport, type in the field 'Origin': Flughafen, Innsbruck.
If you arrive at the train station, type in the field 'Origin': Hauptbahnhof, Innsbruck.
As destination enter "Technik, Innsbruck" for connections to the institute

By car (E)

Exit the highway at 'Innsbruck-Kranebitten' and follow the signs to Innsbruck. Drive left out of the first roundabout after the crossover for pedestrians. You see already the building Viktor-Franz-Hess-Haus.

To plan your trip, you can use the route planner of OpenStreetMap.

! Please note that recent construction works in Technikerstraße can lead to local and temporal rerouting of the road and bus connections !
