Molecular Systems - Welcome to the Wester Group
Can we understand interactions in complex molecular systems on a fundamental level? How much of a chemical reaction can be described by classical mechanics and what is the role of quantum physics in chemical reactions? What does this teach us about molecular processes in real-world environments such as in biological chromophores or in interstellar molecular clouds?
These are questions that we address in our research group using a range of experimental techniques. If you want to learn more about this have a look at our research page. If you are interested in participating in these endevaours, we are always looking for motivated candidates who are interested in B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. research projects.
