Goals

Mapping Sustainable Development Goals and teaching courses at Universität Innsbruck

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the associated 169 individual goals, which are at the heart of the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development, offer a new political framework worldwide to end poverty of all kinds, inequality to combat and counteract climate change.

Sustainable objectives are also anchored in the EU treaties and are included in cross-departmental key projects and initiatives such as the Aurora university network. However, they are also becoming increasingly important in the context of the development plan, the performance agreement and the target agreements.

Lecture Series Sustainable Development Goals

From October 13th to December 17th, scientists present the individual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.. The SDGs are discussed by representatives of the Rectorate and Bachelor students (the language of instruction is English).

The lecture series is open to the public and live streamed (via OLAT guest access and "video live stream"). The individual sessions are recorded and can be accessed through the following link: https://lms.uibk.ac.at/auth/RepositoryEntry/4810637620/CourseNode/102613375447527  (via OLAT guest account)
