01-03 Navigation and activities

UNIverse is based on Nextcloud and offers easy navigation and a user-friendly interface. To help you get started, we are happy to clarify the most important points:

Nextcloud_Navigation

This screenshot shows the UNIverse dashboard.

  1. The dashboard is located on the bar at the top of the screen, marked with the number (1) on the screenshot. You can customize this at any time. You can find more information about this in 01-02-Dashboard
  2. To the right of the dashboard, marked with (2) in the screenshot, is Talk. You can find more information about this in 03-01-Talk Settings.
  3. The icon next to Talk, marked with (3) in the screenshot, is the file storage Files. You can find more information about this 04-01-Upload and Download 
  4. The icon next to Files, marked with (4) in the screenshot, leads to Activity. Here you will find a complete overview of your activities.
  5. To the right of this is Contacts, marked with (5) in the screenshot. For more information, see 05-01 Contacts.
  6. Next to Contacts, you will find the Calendar function. For more information, see 06-01 Calendar and 06-02 Calendar Settings.
  7. In 7th place, you will find Notes.
  8. Deck, marked with (8) in the screenshot, allows you to structure your tasks in the style of a Kanban board.
  9. In 9th place, you will find system-wide announcements.
  10. Marked with (1) in the screenshot, you will find Collectives. Here you can build and manage shared wikis.
  11. In Tasks, you can structure your daily tasks or projects. Instructions can be found in 10-01 Tasks.
  12. Secrets: In position 12, you will find Secrets. This feature allows you to share secrets with specific people. How it works is explained in 11-01 Secrets.
  13. Memories: In position 13, you will find Memories, a photo organization solution with advanced features. You can find more information about this in 12-01 Memories.

 

On the right side of the screen, you will also find the functions listed below, from left to right:

  1. Search: Here you can search UNIverse for apps, files, keywords, messages, and other parameters.
  2. Notifications: e.g., when shares have been made to you.
  3. Contact search: Here you can quickly access your contacts.
  4. Profile settings
