Study Abroad: ERASMUS+

 



Erasmus+ offers bachelor's and master’s students the chance to study at one of our European partner universities for a semester. They can choose from various courses relevant to their program. Upon approval, credits earned from these courses can be transferred to equivalent courses in Innsbruck.

Who can apply?

Eligibility

  • Bachelor students in the Management and Economics program.
  • Master students in either the Marketing and Branding program
    or the Strategic Management and Innovation program

Université d' Angers – ESTHUA, France, language requirement*: French B1

Italy:

Università di Pisa, language requirement*: Italian B1

Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, language requirement*: Italian B1

Spain:

University of Huelva, language requirement*: English or Spanish B1

Universitat de les Illes Balears, language requirement*: English or Spanish A1

The Netherlands:

Tilburg University, language requirement*: English B2

*No language certificate needed for application. If you have successfully been nominated for a university the international relations office and/or the respective partner university might ask you to provide one.


Nomination Criteria

Nominations are determined based on the following criteria:

  1. Semester Status: Bachelor students must be at least in their 3rd semester and Master students must be in their 3rd semester upon departure from Innsbruck.
  2. ECTS Credits: Applicants have a minimum of 30 remaining ECTS when departing from Innsbruck.
  3. Above average academic performance (academic records/course progression)
  4. Motivation (quality of essay)
  5. Number of applications and available placements

 

Application Documents

The following documents must be uploaded via LFU:online

  • CV (in English)
  • Academic records (Studienerfolgsnachweis)
  • An essay (1 page) in which the student reflects on how a semester abroad at the preferred university will enrich his/her academic, professional, and personal growth.
Application process 

To apply for a semester abroad at the above listed partner universities:

  1. Visit LFU:online and log into your student account
  2. Click on “meine Mobilitäten”
  3. Apply for a maximum of 4 different universities.
  4. Upload all required documents (CV, academic records, essay)
Application deadlines

Application period for the summer term: 01.07 – 31.08.

Application period for the winter term: 01.02 – 31.03.
