Study Abroad: The International Student Exchange

 



Erasmus+ enables Bachelor as well as Master students to study at one of our European Partner Universities for the duration of one semester. Students can attend Marketing, Branding and other Business courses depending on their study program. On approval by the faculty director (Studiendekan), successfully attended courses are credited for equivalent courses in Innsbruck. All nominated students will receive an ERASMUS scholarship.


Who can apply?

Undergraduate Students (Bachelor Program Management and Economics) who:

  • are in their 3rd semester when leaving Innsbruck
  • still have a minimum of 30 ECTS open before leaving Innsbruck
  • successfully completed a Marketing course in Innsbruck (grade 1 or 2)

Graduate Students (Master Program Marketing and Branding & Master Program Strategic Management and Innovation ) who:

  • are in their third semester

KU Leuven, Belgium (Bachelor or Master)

Universita di Pisa, Italy (Bachelor)

Hanken Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration

Helsinki Campus, Finland (autumn semester): (Bachelor or Master)

Vasa Campus, Finland (autumn semester): (Bachelor or Master)

VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic (Bachelor or Master)

University of Birmingham, England  (Bachelor only)


Application requirements

Bachelor students (Management and Economics), who:

  • plan to spend their 3,4 or 5th semester abroad
  • have successfully completed a Marketing course (VU and PS)

Master students (Marketing and Branding; Strategic Management and Innovation)

  • plan to spend their 3 semester abroad

Nominations will be based on the quality of your application (Motivation letter, CV and your academic record).

 

Application process

To apply for a semester abroad:

  1. Visit LFU:online and log into your student account
  2. Click on “meine Mobilitäten”
  3. Apply for a maximum of 4 different universities

To apply for the above listed universities, upload the following documents:

  • Motivation letter (English)
  • CV (English)
  • Academic records (Studienerfolgsnachweis)

Application period for the summer term: 01.07 – 31.08.

Application period for the winter term: 01.02 – 31.03.
