Room types

The Research Department offers three guest rooms for four persons each (e.g. for student groups - 12 students) and one double room with integrated bathroom and toilet in the second floor for guest researchers and seminar guests. A common room with kitchenette in the same floor can be used for heating up small meals. 

 Infrastructure for courses and closed-door-meetings

 Our seminar room "Schafberg" in the second floor can be used for courses, closed-door-meetings and meetings after registration in the Secretariat. We have a fully equipped training laboratory for courses (e.g. microscopy) in the ground floor.

Costs

BSc, MSc and PhD students of the University of Innsbruck can use the guest rooms free of charge, external students have to pay € 10,- per day or € 50.- per week  (reduced cost price). Guest researchers and partners are asked for the standard cost price of € 30.- per day or € 150.- per week.
For using the rooms and an electronic chip (= key for outside doors and bedroom) the secretary will ask you for a deposit of € 50,- in cash, which will be returned on departure.

Registration and payment

Please check the availability of the rooms with our secretary (+++43 512507 50201) or via email (office-ilim@uibk.ac.at). The personal registration for rooms can be made between Monday and Friday 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Secretariat (ground floor). For online registration please forward a copy of your identification card with the personal data to the secretary. We kindly ask non-Austrian guests for the passport number.

Parking

There is a parking-area directly in front of the Department building.

House Rules

In general we ask our guests to be careful using the furniture and to inform us about any damage immediately. We regret that pets are not allowed in the rooms. You will find the House Rules in your bedroom which have to be followed unconditionally.
