Sunet Grobler is a Doctoral Student and Research Assistant at the Institute for Teacher Education and School Research at Leopold-Franzens-University, Innsbruck, Austria. Her Master’s thesis was titled: “Life Sciences Teachers' Understanding, Application and Experience of Indigenous Knowledge and Cooperative Learning Before, During and After a Professional Development Intervention”. She is currently pursuing her PhD in teacher education and Sustainable Development Goals. Her research priorities and interests include professional development interventions for integrating indigenous knowledge in science teaching, self-directed learning strategies in science classrooms, the concept of quality education (SDG4), and how Agenda2030 can be supported and implemented in teacher education programs.
