From the idea to the final construction product

To implement innovations and to enable the market launch of building products, the Unit of Timber Engineering, together with the TVFA Innsbruck develop so-called European technical assessment documents (ETAs) for companies in the frame of initial tests and subsequent quality control. This happens in close cooperation with European technical assessment bodies and national regulatory bodies for building products. In order to meet the required quality standards according to EN / ISO / IEC 17025, the emplyoees (link RM) as well as the engineers in measurement technology and all test equipment of the TVFA Innsbruck are monitored by the Accreditation Austria (AkkG).
