03-02 Create conversation

What you need to know

In UNIverse you can chat with individuals or groups. Within these chats, you can collaborate on documents, hold spontaneous video conferences, and schedule meetings.

What you need to do

  1. Click on Talk.
  2. Click on + Create a new conversation. You can find this function both on the Talk homepage and to the right of the search function.
  3. Give your conversation a name.
  4. Optional: Give your conversation a description.
  5. Optional: Upload an image for the conversation.
  6. Conversation visibility:
    • You can allow guests to join via link.
    • If guests are allowed to participate, password protection can also be enabled
    • Open conversations to registered users, showing them in search results. This will display your conversation in public conversations. All users can join.
  7. Click on Add participants.
  8. Add participants. 
  9. Click Create conversation.
