The Masters program provides a solid education in theoretical and practical philosophy, both historical and contemporary. Graduates are empowered to think and act as responsible and autonomous agents in intercultural and interreligious dialogue, equipped with a sensitivity to the plurality of worldviews in a globalized society. The degree qualifies graduates for diverse careers, not least in higher education, the cultural sector, politics, and religious institutions.

Degree Program
The new Masters program includes modules in metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of language, and more, discussed in light of the big questions in philosophy of religion. You will study six compulsory modules and a selection of elective modules before embarking on your Master's thesis. Course content may vary to accommodate advancements in the field.

All online courses are administered according to the highest standards of quality for online teaching, providing direct and regular communication in virtual classrooms, and easily accessible learning aids for self-study.

Can I take the courses completely asynchronously?

The best learning in philosophy occurs when there is opportunity for real-time discussion, which our seminars provide. We aim to flexibly accommodate as many time zones as possible to enable everyone to participate in live meetings. However, if live meetings are impossible for you due to work, family, or similar constraints, please get in touch individually at and we will do our best to find a flexible arrangement. We cannot say in advance of individual discussion whether this will be possible or what it will look like, but we are certainly willing to make something work if we can.
