Biography
Stefan Schwitzer is a project researcher in the framework of the project “Natural Hazards in the Mountain Environment: Risk Management and Responsibility” (coordination: Prof. Margareth Helfer, Department of Italian Law at the University of Innsbruck, Sector of Criminal Law).
He studied Italian Law at the University of Innsbruck, writing a diploma thesis on the topic of family abuse with special reference to civil protection orders (2017).
Schwitzer then completed the legal internship pursuant to Art. 73 d.l. 69/2013 at the Civil and Criminal Court of Bolzano.
From October 2019 he worked as a trainee lawyer for the tax and law firm IOOS.
He is also a doctoral candidate at the Universities of Innsbruck and Padova (Italy) focusing on the criminal law implications of autonomous driving.
