Lecture series on climate protection
The lecture series on climate protection (German: "Ringvorlesung Klimaschutz") take place regularly as part of the „Interdisciplinary and generic skills” and “Lectures For Future” and are open to all students of AURORA parnter universities. All interested participants are cordially invited - including non-university-enrolled guests. All documents and videos are accessible via OLAT, those without an university acces via a guest access.
All lectures are being streamed online and recorded; these recordings can be found on the Youtube Channel "Ringvorlesung Klimaschutz". More on climate protection (news, events, ...) can be found on Facebook and Instagram of Scientists for Future - Tirol & Vorarlberg.

„Ist die Klimaschutz-Aufgabe noch lösbar?“
Zum Vortragenden: Wolfgang Feist gründete 1996 das Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt, welches den Passivhaus-Standard für Neubau und Sanierung weltweit bekannt und verfügbar gemacht hat. Feist ist Träger des Deutschen Umweltpreises (2001), des Inter-nationalen Umweltpreises der Stadt Göteborg (2003) sowie des Sustainable Building Awards der Universität Lund (2014). Seit 2008 ist Feist Universitätsprofessor für Hochbau, Bauphysik und Gebäudetechnik an der Universität Innsbruck.

Wie wir das Klimaziel erreichen und damit die Welt verändern“
Zum Vortragenden und Autor des gleichnamigen Buches:
Christof Drexel übernahm nach seiner Ausbildung zum Maschinenbauer den Betrieb seines Vaters in Bregenz, ein regionales Unternehmen für Lüftungsbau. Später entwickelte er hocheffiziente Kompaktgeräte für Heizen, Lüftung und Warmwasserbereitung, mit denen „drexel und weiss“ zum Technologie- und Marktführer bei der Haustechnik für Passivhäuser wurde. 2016 schied er aus dem operativen Geschäft aus und arbeitet seither als Berater und Autor.
