Summary

The aim of the project is to increase circular processes in the construction sector by establishing a transborder permanent network of HUBs that provide circular services in architecture, technologies, and materials, thereby supporting SMEs in the construction value-chain. The project objectives include analyzing the construction sector to identify relevant needs and expectations and developing a model of transborder collaboration to set up the network of HUBs. The project will define a transborder catalogue of services to be offered to SMEs, and the piloting phase will test the network of HUBs in the Italy-
Austria area. The expected outputs are a network of HUBs, a transborder set of services and tools to support green innovation in the construction sector, and an agreement of cooperation for the durability of the network. The project contributes to broader strategies and policies by aligning with the green and digital transition, the EU's circular economy package, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The project will involve various stakeholders, including research institutions, SMEs, local and regional authorities, and other relevant organizations. A communication plan will ensure effective dissemination of project results.
