The Institute focuses on research and teaching in the various fields of business law. This includes general business and corporate law, banking and capital markets law, intellectual property law and competition law. Reflecting the changing twenty-first century economy, these legal disciplines are applied to a wide variety of issues at the intersection of business and digitalisation, such as e-commerce, digital platforms, and data privacy.

Our faculty is dedicated at the forefront of its fields, as well as instruction at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Additionally, scientific lectures and trainings are regularly held at the faculty by members of the Institute. These lectures are aimed at postgraduates, including lawyers, notaries, judges, chartered accountants and a variety of other legal professions.
