About Christoph Jäger

Christoph Jäger did graduate work at Münster, Hamburg, and Oxford. He received his MA in 1992 and his PhD in 1994, both in Philosophy, from the University of Münster. He has been a visiting philosopher at Oxford University, Magdalen College (1992/93); an Assistant Professor at Leipzig University (1994-2003); a Visiting Assistant Professor at Georgetown University, Washington (2001), and the James Collins Visiting Professor at Saint Louis University (2007). He also held a 5 year Heisenberg Research Fellowship by the German Research Foundation.

From 2005-2010 he has been a University Lecturer in Philosophy at King's College, Aberdeen University.

Since 2014 he is Professor of Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy in the Faculty of Catholic Theology at Innsbruck University.
