History

The Department of Italian Law was founded in 2006 replacing the former Joint Institution of Italian law, which was primarily responsible for organi­sing and carrying out the Italian law studies. [more]

People

The Department has its own staff, that is scientifically active in various fields. In addition, lecturers from our partner universities Padova and Trento as well as several practitioners are teaching at our Department. [more]

Libraries

Students and (visiting) scientists have access to four (sub-)libraries (Private Law, Public Law, Criminal Law and Pro­ce­dure, Tax Law) which allow an in-depth examination of many facets of Italian law. [more]
