Meryem Vural is a university assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute for Theory and Future of Law at the University of Innsbruck. Her research focuses on European Law, International Law and the Law of Digitalisation.

She completed her law degree in 2019 and her bachelor's degree in Business Law in 2020. During both her studies, she worked as a legal assistant at the Law Firm Oberhofer & Partner. After completing her studies, she worked as a university assistant to Univ. Prof. Dr. Walter Obwexer at the Institute for European and International Law at the University of Innsbruck, teaching in the field of European and International Law. Since September 2021, she has been a university assistant at the Institute for Theory and Future of Law.
