Philipp Jaud is a PhD candidate at the Department of Legal Theory and Future of Law and a doctoral fellow from the University of Innsbruck's Young Researchers Programme. During his law studies at the Universities of Innsbruck and Padua (Italy), he gained professional experience through internships in the field of data protection. He graduated with a comparative law thesis on claims for damages arising from data protection violations. His research focuses on data protection law, European Union law and the law of digitalisation.
