Short Description
Aim of the research-project "Otto Bauer: From relgious socialism to apocalyptic thinking" is the research and edition of the writings of the so called „little“ Otto Bauer (1897-1986). He was co-founder and chairman of the Bund Religiöser Sozialisten (BSR; Union of Religious Socialists) during the period of the First Austrian Republic. Among the historic-critical reassessment of Otto Bauers works, this project will classify and discuss them with regard to actual questions on political theology and apocalyptic thinking.
