Assistant Professor in the Section of Austrian History
Coordinator for the Erasmus+ programme in History
Born in Uttendorf (Salzburg) in 1970. Studied history and 'selected subjects' from 1994 to 1999 with complementary studies in Scandinavian Studies from 1999 to 2003 at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna. Completed a PhD in History at the University of Innsbruck in 2008.
She was a researcher in several projects in 2000-2003 and 2005-2008. Between 2008 and 2013, she was a University Assistant (Universitätsassistentin) and an Elise-Richter Fellow of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) from 2011 until 2016 with the postdoctoral project (Habilitationsprojekt) ‘Societal Change through Government and Administration: Political Communication in the Territories of Ferdinand III of Tuscany, Salzburg, and Wurzburg 1790-1824’ at the Institute for History and European Ethnology at the University of Innsbruck.
In 2015 a Visiting Fellow for Humanities at the University of Silesia in Opava, Czech Republic and in 2016-2017 a Fellow at the Austrian Historical Institute in Rome.
Senior Lecturer at the Institute for Modern and Contemporary History at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz in 2017/2018. In September 2018 she returned to the University of Innsbruck, first as a University Assistant and since December 2018 as an Assistant Professor at the Institute for History and European Ethnology.
