Programmes

If you want to complete a programme not just in Innsbruck but also (partially) abroad, the University of Innsbruck offers different options to do so. The most well-known are:

Erasmus: Study for a semester or a year at another university, see below
Aurora: Classes or short stays at another university in the Aurora network
Secondos: in Bursa or Zagreb

In addition to studies abroad, you can also apply for internships, e.g. through Erasmus+ and Aurora Mobility.

The University of Innsbruck does not just offer students the possibility of going abroad but also supports research centres, each of which has a specific country focus. More about this under International Services Facilities.

Einrichtungen der Internationalen Dienste

Die Internationalen Dienste sind ein Kompetenzzentrum in den Bereichen akademischer Austausch und Förderung internationaler Lehr- und Lernerfahrungen sowie internationaler Vernetzung in Studium, Lehre, Forschung und Verwaltung. Das Team unterstützt Studierende, Lehrende, Wissenschaftler:innen und allgemeines Personal der Universität Innsbruck auf ihrem Weg in die Welt und holt Studierende, Wissenschaftler:innen und allgemeines Personal mittels Austauschprogrammen nach Innsbruck. Darüber hinaus vermitteln wir interkulturelle Kompetenzen und regionalspezifisches kulturelles Know-how und Wissen für ein universitäres und außeruniversitäres Publikum durch ein akademisches Veranstaltungsprogramm.
