Zoltán Vörösz_voeroes

Senior Scientist
PhD 1992, Comenius University, Bratislava

Zoltán Vörös’s research is focused on the multi-scale and nonlinear aspects of structure formation in space plasmas. The essential dynamical phenomena in plasmas, which are responsible for energy conversion and for energy transfer between locations, scales and modes include magnetic reconnection (MR), turbulence and waves. The principal aim of research is to investigate dynamical plasma phenomena on the basis of in-situ measurements in the solar wind, terrestrial and planetary magnetospheres, including the study of temporal, spatial and functional structures in turbulent plasmas.
