Gemma De les Coves studied Physics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and went on to do a PhD at the University of Innsbruck. After a PostDoc at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics, she came back to Innsbruck as an Elise Richter Fellow, and became an Assistant Professor in 2018.
