Doctoral Programme


In 2010 the Doctoral Programme Computational Interdisciplinary Modelling (DK CIM) was initiated at the University of Innsbruck within the framework of the Research Area Scientific Computing. The purpose of the DK CIM is to provide a substantiated research-guided and well-structured educational training for excellent Ph.D. students in the field of interdisciplinary computational modelling utilizing high performance computing, within the fields of atmospheric science, chemistry, computer science, material science, engineering science, mathematics and physics.

 

DOCC is a novel interdisciplinary EC H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND doctoral training programme for international high-potential early-stage researchers (ESRs) with a focus on modelling and simulation in basic, natural and engineering sciences at the University of Innsbruck (UIBK) in Austria.
