Research interests

In my PhD thesis I am examining the structure of metaphors in the framework of the contemporary philosophy of language. I argue that metaphors are context-sensitive linguistic phenomena, which can be analyzed similarly to indexicals. On the basis of this investigation I also evaluate the role of metaphors in religious language. My main research areas are philosophy of language, epistemology, logic and philosophy of religion.

Beside these philosophical topics I am also interested in the contemporary political conflict between Israel and Palestine and the history of Judaism in general. About both matters I am giving tours and talks at the Jewish Museum Munich and the VHS Landsberg.
