With his entertaining talk on "Broken Hearts and Computer Repairs" (see the video below) Parampreet Christopher Bindra won the 7th edition of the Science Slam in Innsbruck.
Similar to poetry slams, the science slam is a competition among researchers who present their work in an entertaining way. During the 6 minute time slots pretty much everything is allowed which pleases the crowd - apart from a beamer and PowerPoint. Christopher did a terrific job on presenting a recent field experiment on credence goods and was voted on first place by the audience. That means, that he got his ticket for the grand final of the Science Slam Austria in Vienna in April.
