Research interests

Extraction, analysis, isolation, and structure elucidation of secondary metabolites from plants and lichens. Identification of drug leads from nature with anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetes, or anti-ageing activity by the use of ethnopharmacological sources, bioactivity-guided fractionation and/or computational techniques.
