Curriculum Vitae:

Kathrin Figl is Full Professor for Information Systems at the University of Innsbruck. She holds a venia legendi for Information Systems from the Vienna University of Economics, where she has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Information Systems and New Media. She further holds two Master Degrees in Information Systems and Psychology and a Doctoral Degree in Information Systems, all with honours, from the University of Vienna. Her research focuses on human-centric development and design of information systems and she has published more than 70 research papers and articles, among others in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, Business & Information Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering, Information and Software Technology, AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction and the International Journal of Human-Computer Studies. Kathrin Figl served as chair for the track “Human-centric Information Systems Design and Development” at MKWI 2018, as associate editor for the Wirtschaftsinformatik conference 2017 and ICIS 2018 and she serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Information Systems Education.
