Guidelines for electronic submission of scientific papers published

On 1 October 2017 the “Guidelines of the University of Innsbruck for Electronic Submission and Publication of Scientific Papers” came into effect.

What changes?

Since 1 October 2017 all students of Diploma, Master’s or Doctoral programmes at the University of Innsbruck have been obliged, to submit a PDF-version of their scientific thesis and the respective meta data via an upload form in addition to handing in a printed version.

How does one submit the data electronically?

Enter the meta data for your work in the respective web form at diglib.uibk.ac.at/upload. You must fill in all fields marked by an asterisk. Since 1 October 2017 a PDF-version of the thesis must be uploaded in addition. It is of course up to you, whether you want to make your paper accessible worldwide or not.

If you want to make your thesis electronically accessible worldwide, it will be published in the  repository (diglib.uibk.ac.at) of the University of Innsbruck. This repository is linked to international search systems. This way you make your thesis accessible to the general public and improve the visibility of your scientific work.

As soon as you have filled in the upload form, an entry confirmation will be displayed. This confirmation is to be handed in together with the printed version of your scientific thesis in the Exams Office.
