Performance-based scholarship
This year again, all students, who have passed exams between 1st October 2021 and 30th September 2022, have the opportunity to apply for a performance-based scholarship which according to §57 (1) of the Austrian Federal Student Support Act, serves to acknowledge excellent performances via the LFU:online students' portal.
Austrian citizens, citizens from EEA states as well as stateless persons granted equal status are entitled to apply.

Application period for performance-based scholarships: 05th September 2022 to 07th October 2022.
Needs-based scholarships
Applications for needs-based scholarships can also be filed via the LFU.online students' portal. Needs-based scholarships serve to promote scientific papers by students of regular study programmes at universities. Scholarships are intended to be used for diploma thesis, master's thesis and doctoral thesis that have not yet been completed. Austrian citizens, citizens from EEA-states and stateless persons granted equal status are entitled to make an application.

Application periods for needs-based scholarships: 09th May 2022 to 27th May 2022 and 19th September 2022 to 07th October 2022.
