The offer is aimed at the requirements of studying and includes the following topical areas:
- Module I: Basic Course – Library Use
Tasks and structure of the library, BibSearch, basic literature research, photo tour of the main library - Module II: Advanced Course - Research
Developing and using of research strategies, research tools, loan (interlibrary loan, old stock …), database research, electronic media - Module III: Courses for Literature Administration
Use of software solutions for saving, organising and processing bibliographies: EndNote Web, Citavi, Zotero
There is also the option of booking individual course dates and consultation units free of charge. Additional subject areas can also be agreed or the offer can be adapted directly to the field of study. We are looking forward to your booking via e-mail: ulb-informationskompetenz@uibk.ac.at.
Due to the measures currently in place to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, all training sessions / consultations take place online via the BigBlueButton platform, which can be easily used with the Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome Internet browsers.

In this freely accessible course you can find practical material, instructions and tutorials as well as advanced materials that you can use for your studies!
