Call for Abstracts

The conference aims to provide a platform for master's and PhD students of the Faculty of Teacher Education (University of Innsbruck) to showcase and present their research work (ongoing or already completed) in an academic setting.

The conference pursues the following objectives:


  • provide master's and PhD students with the opportunity to present their research findings to a broader academic audience
  • strengthen openness to innovative research approaches and diverse methodological perspectives
  • discuss various academic perspectives that can contribute to the advancement of educational research
  • promote interdisciplinary exchange among students with different research focuses within teacher education
  • support the networking of early-career researchers and foster the development of sustainable research connections

Format

Presentation: 20-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute Q&A-round

Abstract Guidelines

The abstract should be written in German or English, contain a maximum of 250 words (excluding references), and include the following information:

  • theoretical background and/or relevance to the field
  • goals and/or research question(s)
  • methodology and/or line of argumentation
  • research finding (if applicable)
  • conclusions (if applicable)
  • up to 5 keywords and the 5 most important references

Please send your abstract no later than January 10, 2026, to the email address: flb-ma-phd-tagung26@uibk.ac.at.

All submissions will undergo a peer-review process. You will receive feedback on your contribution by February 1, 2026.
