Corona-update for Biochemistry Teaching

Dear students,

the lecturers of the Institute of Biochemistry would like to give you a short overview of the status quo regarding lectures and upcoming internships.

  1. In April and - as we estimate it - also in May there will be no internship at the Institute of Biochemistry. Therefore we are currently working on the conversion of our internships to distance learning in addition to our lectures. We hope to provide you with more information after Easter.
  1. We will not be able to hold our next exam on April 27th as planned. But we are working on offering you alternatives: At the moment the ZID is working on an implementation possibility which could be used after successful internal testing.
  1. In any case, we would like to assure you that our biochemistry team will continue to eagerly work on the new eLearning alternatives for interactive practical courses and lectures over Easter in order to avoid study delays.

If you have further questions or suggestions, please contact your course supervisor directly or send us an e-mail to biochemistry@uibk.ac.at.

We would be pleased to hear from you.

We wish you a Happy Easter and continued good health!

With kind regards
The team of lecturers of the Institute of Biochemistry
