Akademischer Werdegang:

Maximilian Schreieck ist Assistenzprofessor für Wirtschaftsinformatik, insb. Digitale Services und Plattformen am Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik, Produktionswirtschaft und Logistik der Universität Innsbruck. Er promovierte 2020 an der Technischen Universität München (TUM) im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik. Von 2020 bis 2021 war er Postdoktorand am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik der TUM und von 2021 bis 2022 Gastforscher und Walter-Benjamin-Stipendiat der DFG an der Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Seine Forschungsinteressen umfassen digitale Plattformökosysteme, Plattform-Governance, die digitale Transformation etablierter Unternehmen und digitale Plattformen für soziale Zwecke. Seine Forschung wurde in Zeitschriften wie Journal of the AIS, Information Systems Journal, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology, Business & Information Systems Engineering, Electronic Markets, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Information Technology for Development, und auf Konferenzen wie z.B. der ICIS, AOM, ECIS, HICSS, AMCIS und PACIS veröffentlicht.
