ÖH-fee €20.20 as of now

Due to an index clause, the ÖH-fee will be increased to €20.20 with the winter semester of 2019/2020. You can pay your study and ÖH-fee resp. at the service points as of 24 June 2019. If you use online banking, please note not only the new amount of the fee, but also that the payment reference  changes every semester. Your studies will continue with your payment.

If you do not pay your study and ÖH-fee resp. in time, your admission to your study programme will automatically expire.

Leave of absence

Upon request, students can be granted leave for one or more semesters in the following cases:

• fulfilling the military service, training or civil service or a voluntary social year
• pregnancy
• child-care obligations or other similar care obligations
• illness that verifiably prevents the advancing of the studies
• care of relatives
  

The request must be filed by the start of the semester (1 March or 1 October resp.) – best via LFU:online.

During the leave of absence the admission to the study programme remains. Participation in courses, passing of examinations and the handing in and evaluation of written papers (e.g. Bachelor’s or Diploma or Master’s Theses, Dissertations) is not allowed.

Advantage: During my leave I remain within “my” curriculum. BUT: The transition period for the phasing out of the old curriculum remains unaffected by a leave, this means that the deadline will not be extended!

Online Application for all Students

Since March, all students, regardless of their nationality, can apply for all studies online. The application can be made either via LFU: online or via the respective profile page: https://www.uibk.ac.at/studium/angebot.
