Opening time of the ULB Tirol library in the summer of 2017
During the summer holidays opening hours are reduced at times
Opening times of the main library and the libraries of the specific institutes
New library system: ALMA
During the 2017 summer the ULB Tirol library will switch to the ALMA library administration system.
Because of these changes, all locations will stay closed from 14 to 18 August 2017, with the exception of the historic reading hall, which may be used from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. during this week.
Please note the following limitations during the system switch:
- From 14 to 18 August 2017 you will not be able to access your library account, so you will not be able to order or place a reservation for books.
- Borrowed books, which aren’t due by 14 August 2017, will be prolonged to 22 August 2017 by us.
- Books, which were due before 14 August 2017 will not be prolonged, this means there will be continuing overdue fees. So please return due books in time!
- It is also possible to return books during the system change, the books will be booked back once the system is up and running and backdated to 14 August 2017.
- From 14 to 18 August 2017 no books can be booked or reserved. Current active reservations cannot be migrated into the new system.
- With the exception of short disruptions, it will be possible to search in the Primo search portal, the search engine of the Österreichischen Bibliothekenverbund will work throughout.
- Access to electronic resources is as usual possible via the Primo search portal.
As of 18 August 2017, once the system change has been completed, all library services can be used again. A change concerning you is the login to the Primo search portal, which is then effected with your student account.
