Funding for junior researchers

 

Tranche 2023/2024

In order to promote virtual and physical research exchange within Italy and Austria, the Italien-Zentrum of the University of Innsbruck offers funding for junior postgraduate researchers at the University of Innsbruck. The funding can be used to:

  • initiate contact with scholars and develop research projects in cooperation with international higher education institutions and other research institutes (with at least one Italian university or research institute);
  • conduct short research periods at universities and other Italian institutes with a close research focus (such as libraries, archives, research centres etc.);
  • use digital sources with fee-based access of Italian universities and other Italian institutions (e.g. archives, museums);
  • participate in virtual or physical conferences and congresses in Italy by presenting their own research project.

Funding is granted only after written confirmation by the Italien-Zentrum. There is no legal entitlement to the granting of funding.


Deadline: Applications can be submitted by e-mail until 16.06.2023.
