The SFB (Special Research Unit) “Credence Goods, Incentives and Behavior” at the University of Innsbruck is delighted to invite submissions for the second edition of the Innsbruck Winter Summit - Un(Ethical) Behavior in Markets to be held in Kühtai/Austria on March 18-20, 2020. The Innsbruck Winter Summit is a high-quality workshop with the purpose to connect leading researchers. The workshop focuses on theoretical, empirical, behavioral, and experimental aspects of un(ethical) behavior in markets. The organizers invite submissions of full papers that address, among other related topics, dishonesty, lying, (im)moral and (un)ethical behavior in Economics, Finance, and Science.

With the University of Innsbruck being located in the middle of the Alps, the Innsbruck Winter Summit will be held a 40 minutes’ drive away in Kühtai, a small town located 2020 meters above sea level in a picturesque ski area. The historic Hotel Jagdschloss, located right next to the ski slopes, will provide a stunning and cozy venue for scientific and social exchange.

Note that the Innsbruck Winter Summit will be held in tandem with the Innsbruck Winter School on Credence Goods, Incentives, and Behavior and participants from the Winter School will join the workshop.

Accommodation

Accommodation, breakfast and dinner are included in the tuition fee and provided at the Hotel Jagdschloss in Kühtai. Located 2020 meters above sea level at the center of the picturesque ski area and equipped with various wellness facilities, you will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the natural surroundings and relax in between the scientific sessions. 

Application & Paper Submission

The tuition fee for the Winter Summit is 500 Euros for the 2-day workshop and includes half-board and accommodation (single room) for three nights (March 18-21) at the Hotel Jagdschloss. Any additional expenses are to be covered by the participants. 

The deadline for applications and paper submissions is October 31, 2019. You will receive the decision on your application no later than November 30, 2019. The tuition fee will have to be paid in full via Bank Transfer within two weeks after you receive the confirmation. Further details will be given via email.
