Call for Papers

The Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Accounting Conference is an established forum for research into the social, political and organisational aspects of accounting. It brings together accounting researchers with broad social science interests and researchers from disciplines such as anthropology, history, philosophy, sociology and political economy.

We are inviting submissions of papers addressing contemporary and emerging issues in all fields of accounting research adopting social science, interdisciplinary, and/or critical perspectives.

The conference format is intended to provide all papers and presenters with a constructive forum to discuss their research. All papers undergo a double-blind review process. After acceptance, authors may submit a revised version of their paper.

Papers will be presented by a discussant, the author(s) will respond, and an open discussion will follow. We encourage discussants and authors to get in direct contact prior to the conference.

To make this conference format work, we require submitting authors to act as reviewers and presenters of accepted papers to act as discussants.
