How to apply for the Vis Moot Team Innsbruck
To become a member of the Vis Moot Team representing the University of Innsbruck in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court you should have good knowledge of contract law and English. We recommend having passed the exam in “Bürgerliches Recht” and having participated in the course “English for Law Students” as preparation, but you will enjoy additional preparatory sessions once selected for the team targeted at the specific topics you will encounter through your Vis Moot participation.
Erasmus Students who will attend the University of Innsbruck for both the winter and summer term are also welcome to apply.
Please note, that the entire event will be held in English!
To apply, send an Email to vismoot-ReWi@uibk.ac.at once the application period has opened (subject: Vis Moot 2024 Application) attaching
- a letter of motivation,
- your CV and
- your academic transcript.
The selection will be based on the documents submitted, and if necessary, interviews will be conducted.
