The joint lectures in criminal law on "Principles and values in criminal law: judicial dialogue between European and national courts" enabled students from the Universities of Bolzano/Bozen, Innsbruck and Trento to engage with the increasingly important question of dialogue between national and European supreme courts in the field of criminal law in exchange with top-class academics and practitioners.
Results The dialog on “constitutional identity” and “national identity” represented a valuable source for the interpretation of national criminal law and the protection of fundamental rights.
