Curriculum Vitae

After graduating from the Handelsakademie (college for higher vocational education), Marija Bilić studied Business Law (Diplomstudium Wirtschaftsrecht) at the University of Innsbruck. During her diploma studies she had been working, among other things, for three years as a legal trainee at the national law firm Dr. Lass in Innsbruck. Moreover, she also gained experience as an auditing assistant (one year) at the Austrian Federation of Limited-Profit Housing Associations (GBV). After graduating from her diploma studies in Business Law (Diplomstudium Wirtschaftsrecht), she worked as a legal counsel in the Human Resources Department of the Medical University of Innsbruck.

Since December 2020, Marija has been working as an Assistant Professor (Universitätsassistentin) to Univ.-Prof. Dr. Walter Obwexer at the Institute for European and International Law at the University of Innsbruck and teaches in the field of European Law. Her doctoral research and thesis concern European State Aid Law as well as National and International Tax Law.

Marija is a member of the Faculty Council and substitute member of the Curriculum Commission of the Faculty of Law as well as substitute member of the Senate of the University of Innsbruck.
