Welcome to the Innsbruck Winter Summit on (Un)Ethical Behavior in Markets

The SFB (Special Research Unit) “Credence Goods, Incentives and Behavior” at the University of Innsbruck is delighted to announce the fourth edition of the Innsbruck Winter Summit - Un(Ethical) Behavior in Markets to be held at the University of Innsbruck on May 19-20, 2022. The Innsbruck Winter Summit is a high-quality workshop with the purpose to connect leading researchers who study theoretical, empirical, behavioral, or experimental aspects of un(ethical) behavior in markets. Among other related topics, full papers on dishonesty, lying, (im)moral and (un)ethical behavior in economics, finance, and science are the primary focus of this summit.

Part of the program will take place at the Seegrube Restaurant, located at 1,900 meters above sea level in the middle of the famous mountain range above Innsbruck, called Nordkette. Expect stunning views of the city of Innsbruck and Austria's largest nature park - the Karwendel.  

Note that the Innsbruck Winter Summit will be held in tandem with the Innsbruck Winter School on Credence Goods, Incentives, and Behavior and participants from the Winter School will join the workshop.

Covid-19 specific information

  • All participants need to provide a 2-G certificate prior to the start of the event, which proofs that they are vaccinated against, or have recovered from a Covid-19 infection.
  • In case you need to cancel your participation due to reasons related to the Covid-19 pandemic (own infection, travel restrictions, etc.) we will provide a full refund of the tuition fee.
  • In case the event needs to be held virtually, we will refund 80% of the tuition fee.
