The International Language Center(isi, "Internationales Sprachenzentrum") is a service organization of the University of Innsbruck that offers students and employees a wide variety of inexpensive language courses.
In summer semester 2014, 20 different languages and over 100 courses will be offered. All courses for next semester are now on our website at http://www.uibk.ac.at/isi/index.html.en.
In academic year 2009/10, isi launched its national focus program: each academic year, we introduce a country (region), its culture(s) and language(s). Language and interculturality courses, lectures, readings, films, etc. provide diverse encounters with the focus nation, its people, its particularities…
This year, Spain and Latin America are the focus of attention. Information on spring 2014 events will be announced soon.
