Italian is one of the major languages in the European Union and of particular importance for Austria: Italy is the second biggest trading partner and the countries share mutually important tourism industries. The focus in this Bachelor’s Degree Programme is the Italian language: Active and passive language proficiency as well as linguistic knowledge of Italian.
In this programme the students also acquire comprehensive knowledge about Italian culture, literature and intercultural competencies.
