Neo-Latin Fellowship

The Institute for Classical Philology and Neo-Latin Studies awards fellowships of €1200 per month to researchers at BA, MA or Postdoc level. The fellowships are for 1–6 months. Researchers are expected to work on a specific project from the field of Neo-Latin literature and to take residence in Innsbruck during the period of the fellowship. They take part in the activities of the Institute and discuss their work with its members. A talk at the end of the scholarship period presents the progress and results of the project to a larger audience.

Applications may be sent to Florian Schaffenrath (florian.schaffenrath@uibk.ac.at) and Martin Korenjak (martin.korenjak@uibk.ac.at). Each application must contain a CV and a bibliography of the candidate, a writing sample (10–20 pages), a description of the project to be carried out in Innsbruck and the desired period of stay in Innsbruck.

Applications can be submitted at any time. Decisions on fellowship awards are made at the beginning of January, the beginning of May, and the beginning of September. Applicants will be informed of the outcome immediately afterwards.
