Our current offers

Dear students,

during the winter semester, we will continue to support you in your transition from university to professional life with our wide range of events, application workshops and our internship and job portal.

Career Service events

Whether it's newly developed formats such as CareerLunch, collaborative events with our partners, such as the SoWi-Holding, or information about exciting events from Info-Eck and others, our events are as diverse and varied as your interests.

Workshops

Would you like to know how to get your career off to a professional start or apply for an internship? Then we have just the thing for you! 

In our workshop “In 2 Kursen zum Ziel” (Reach your goal in two courses), which takes place on two afternoons, you will learn everything about the application process, get tips and strategies for successfully preparing your application and gain insights into what you can expect in a job interview. 

To the dates and the registration

Career Step-in

We offer you the opportunity to drop by spontaneously and without having to register. Our counsellors will be happy to answer all your questions about your job, application and career in a personal initial meeting.

In the 2025/26 winter semester we offer you two dates:

  • Tuesday, 21 October 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the ground floor of the Ágnes-Heller-Haus, Innrain 52a (at the main entrance)
  • Application picture Step-in! Tuesday, 27 January 2026 from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Welcome Room on the ground floor of the GEIWI-tower, Innrain 52d (at the Student Infopoint) – with photographer on-site!

Individual advice

We offer individual consultation appointments regarding your applications and CV checks upon request.

Identifying your own strengths, skills and competencies and presenting yourself professionally are the starting point for a successful application.

Regardless of which subject you have chosen to study, it is crucial to continually assess your own abilities, skills and qualifications. We encourage you to approach this journey of self-reflection and learning with enthusiasm and openness.
