In academic year 2014/2015, the programs of study that do not have a Studies Induction and Orientation Stage (STEOP) will be expanded to include the following diploma and bachelor's degree programs:

  • Secondary School Teacher Accreditation Program
  • Diploma in Pharmacy
  • Diploma Program International Economic and Business Studies
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Biology
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Computer Science
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Management and Economics

These programs have specific requirements for admission.


As previously established, the following programs are exempt from the STEOP requirement:

  • Integrated Diploma Program in Law
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Psychology
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Heath and Competitive Sports
  • Bachelor's Degree Program in Sports Management

The Studies Induction and Orientation Stage (STEOP), to be completed during the first semester, provides an overview of the main contents of the program and its structure so that students have an objective basis to assess their decision to pursue the respective field(s) of study.
