AufnahmeverfahrenFor certain study programmes multi-stage selection procedures are carried out before first-time admission. The registration period for those study programmes starts on March 1 2015 via LFU:online. The period ends either on May 15 or July 15 2015 (depending on the date of the admission test).


While registering for the Bachelor’s Programmes Architecture, Biology, Computer Science, Pharmacy1 and Management and Economics and the Diploma’s Programme International Economic and Business Studies a self assessment has to be completed. Furthermore, a handling fee in the amount of € 50.- has to be paid during the registration period. The admission tests will be carried out only if the numbers of registered persons are higher than the numbers of the available study places.

For applicants of the Bachelor’s and Master’s Programme Psychology the registration period starts on March 1 2015, too. Here, too, applicants have to pay a handling fee of € 50.-.

Admission to Teacher Training Programmes

Admission Procedures for prospective students of the new bachelor’s teacher training programmes which will be established by the winter semester 2015/2016 have been adjusted. There will be no written admission test but an online career counselling that has been developed for people considering a career in teaching. The registration is obligatory for all prospective students of teacher training programmes but free of charge. In order to register, candidates must complete a self assessment and write a letter of motivation.
