IBA researchers demonstrated that proliferation and adipogenic differentiation is impaired in human white adipose-derived progenitor cells. Moreover, the research group provided evidence suggesting that adipose-derived progenitor cell senescence contributes to dysfunctions in triglyceride storage and adipokine secretion in human white adipose tissue.
